Biography
Thirty years ago I sat in a classroom and was asked to make a list of things I was interested in. The list consisted of four words, people, art, landscape, and wildlife. Those four words would be the subject matter for the next 30 years of creating. Although the progression is often a surprise and unexpected I am still continuing the same subjects today.
I accredit my education, from the School of Visual Arts, NYC, NY, MFA and BFA Program's.  The foundation of my formal training prompted a life time career in illustration and as an  educator for higher institutions.
Recently my husband and I retired and moved from the North Eastern  Pennsylvania to Northern  Florida. Currently have been painting plein air, illustrating books, actively committed to promoting the arts in our community's.  The paintings seen on this site are of recent artwork completed within the last few years,  Life in Jacksonville, Florida offered opportunity to see places like Jacksonville Zoo, St' Augustine, Palm Coast. Preserve's where you experience wildlife up-close. Through artwork I have been able to document the beauty of Florida landscapes.  This is a and exciting to experience nature up close.   This warmer climate allows artist the opportunity to paint outdoors year round.  There are so many new adventures we discover.  Florida's tropical landscapes are refreshing to view. The question is not if I will continue to create is what is possible to do next. All is fresh and exciting in a new extraordinary landscape.
