"I drew and painted from a very young age, so I have always had a desire to create things artistic. After college, I spent my life as an award winning illustrator, graphic designer, and a one person ad agency, doing it all.
Today I paint both in plein air and in my studio. I paint in different styles, as the subject moves me because my artwork is a journey through my own vision, which is sometimes quite abstract and other times, very realistic.
I paint what I love. I paint the places I’ve been, and places I want to be.
I paint where I can smell the air, feel the sunlight, and loose myself in the dark shadows. I paint with explosions of color and big brush strokes and I paint with fine detail because some things are just that way. I paint to share my journey and my vision, and to celebrate the beauty that is around us."
Webster describes herself as a multi-stylistic artist. She says, "You don't cook a cake the same way you cook a steak, so why should you paint different things all in the same style? Each event, subject, landscape, figure or still life, is unique and deserves to be treated in a way that brings out the qualities and emotions I see for it in my own vision. I want the painting style to support the focus of the painting and it's subject. Otherwise, you should just take a photo!"
