For those of you who follow my art please be assured I have not given up painting but am trying to save an art establishment dear to my heart; The Coppini Academy of Fine Arts. This is a warning to all art organizations out there to not become complacent in your endeavors as others will step in and wreak havoc on your organization. It has been a year now since we uprooted the disaster in our organization and we are working on keeping our legacy alive of a representational place to gather and paint. This process has slowed down my painting time considerably. FASO has been super supportive with our group and we use their site for our website platform. Clint is awesome in supporting the arts. Keep painting everyone as the process is soul searching and a savior to humanity. Don't let the bad guys in even if well intentioned because you don't want to take the time out of your life to support your organization, it is too easy for others to take advantage. I now know there are people out there that watch non profits and target them for their weaknesses. Stay in touch with your group, ask questions, speak up, don't be afraid, volunteer what time you can for your group otherwise your group will be no more. Art will save humanity. A special thanks to all those individuals out there that support the arts and give their time for those to make art. Charlotte |
