The Plaza #2 by September McGee
Oil 8" x 6"

This is the second painting in my new oil and gold leaf series! The Plaza #2 was so much fun to paint. My Signature Skinny Leg people rock it again. The entire panel was gold leafed. I used a special gold leaf antiquing glaze for the darker portions of the buildings. Available from my Studio

Rain in the City - Special Trio by September McGee
Oil 12 x 6

I painted these three oils on birch wood for a collector. Each panel is a 12" x 6" cradled birch box. I used a unique palette of varied colors and kept the continuity flowing from one panel to another. Each panel can be hung individually however, I painted them so that when they were hung in this manner, they are dimensional to the viewer. Your eyes flow from one to another and are lead by the linear movements on the base of the buildings. Collection of Glenn and Vanessa Tanaka

The Plaza #1 by September McGee

I love using gold leaf - there are so many variables...expected the unexpected. This fun scene was a joy to create. I wanted to make the scene in the rain, at night, and with a soft ambient lighting. Available from my Studio!

This one of my unique oils on Yupo paper. These special little pieces from my Signature Skinny Leg Collection are so much FUN! The paint takes a while to dry, but when it does it is LUMINOUS! The special drips I create on this fabulous paper really make the painting sing rain - which means increase and blessings. Arriving in my booth on Friday, August 16th

My New Yellow Bucket by September McGee
Oil 11 x 14

This is a very unique oil painting on Yupo paper. The little girl is just darling in her hat and her new yellow bucket. The reflections were so much fun to paint. I love how the Yupo paper allows you to do so many strokes and drips. This painting just sold from my booth at the Sawdust Festival. Zolaine Davis Collection
