Only 5 more days before the start of the Downtown Denver Arts Festival. I will be there in booth 72. Several of you have contacted me and I look forward to seeing you. Remember to mention this newsletter to get instant 15% off any purchase.
Three weeks after the Downtown Denver Show, I will be in booth 136 (corner of Logan and 2nd) at the Summer Art Market, sponsored by the Art Students League of Denver. This is a fantastic fine art show featuring all original works by students, faculty and supporters of the ASLD.
I am pleased to announce that my painting, South Rim, an acrylic quadtych, has been purchased by Kaiser Permanente for their new medical office building in Parker, CO. This is especially gratifying to my because I used to work for Kaiser for many years. How cool is that?!
What's New? I am very excited about a process I tried for the first time of pouring epoxy resin over a completed painting. The result is a crystal clear, glass-like layer that seals the painting. This is particularly good to use on abstract works having a lot of metal elements. I will have several paintings with this finish on them next weekend.
Thanks for reading. Hope to see you soon.
Warm regards,
Carol
